I purchased this book because it was the next in a series and I have read them all. I really enjoy my visit to the ranch and enjoy reading about the Weston siblings and there friends. The whole River's End Ranch is written by a group of different authors. They do this so well that it flows as if a continuing long saga. It is also a way to find different authors that one may haven't yet. This book is about a disable divorcee single dad with a sweet daughter. They are barely getting by and he needs to win a town contest that will give him money to use toward the Weston's return of summer camp for children. He wants this so bad to give his daughter stability and her a chance to make friends. They have had to move frequently so he can find work as a piano player. He is attracted to the owner of the old west ice cream parlor and coffee shop. She is also entering the same contest as him. Both however are carrying "suitcases" as the local RV manager (who talks to fairies and gnomes) says. It is fun to see their direction toward HEA. It is a good visit and I can hardly wait until another book allows me a revisit.Product details

Sarsaparilla Showdown was fantastic ! I read this book in one day! The ending was so perfect that I was crying while reading. This is most certainly a must read book. I know for sure that I'll be reading this again. I loved it! Thanks, Caroline.
I truly enjoyed getting to know these characters and "watching" the development of their relationship with each other and Sandi's relationship with Violet. Old friends came for a visit and Jacklyn and Simon added to the mix. This series just keeps getting better.
Sadie Mayfield figured she would be alone with her books & ice cream . Then Shawn McAllister started to frequent her ice cream, soda/ coffee shop. He's thinks he doesn't deserve love. Sadie intends to prove him wrong. This series just gets better & better.
This was an unexpected romance novel. No wealthy guy sweeping a poor damsel in distress off her feet. This had a strong female who had overcome many life obstacles help dust off a broken hero. It is a heart warming tale.
Sadie and Shawn are an amazing couple, but not just a couple because Shawn has a little girl. Shawn has a lot of baggage that isn't all his, but he feels it is. Because of that he doesn't get involved with anyone and he also doesn't want an outsider hurting his little girl.
Sadie has never really had a boyfriend, but she is attracted to Shawn. Shawn is attracted to her and finally breaks down and talks to her.
This is a really good love story with a little different twist. I always enjoy reading this series.
This book sucked me in right from the start, and wouldn't let go until the very last page. Sadie and Shawn were the perfect pairing, and little Violet just made the story even more perfect than it already was. Being a parent and grandparent myself; I could so relate to Shawn. It's not always easy being a parent, especially when times are hard and money is short. Sadie was the best person he could have ever asked for. She was so sweet and understanding right fromm the beginning. And that's something, since she didn't have the perfect childhood, either.
Great story, and a great addition to this series. Off to read the next one in line......
Oh YES!!! This book #14 was SO wonderful! I truly loved it. I finished it at 300 this morning. I just had to know what happened next. A truly sweet romance story filled with surprises, very tender and funny moments. Fell in with their love and how it healed and made for a "happy ever after" ) Oh this book is a must I know you'll love it as much as I did. Caroline has such an amazing way of telling a story. Pulls you right in from the first page until the end, which I didn't want (it to end that is). Thank you sweet Caroline for another outstanding book, you gifted ladies make a great team, so much talent .
