Eighty one has escaped from the lab and ended up on the doorstep of seven big, big men. Turns out they are Demons and they are together. They take Echo in because his arrival has been foreseen and the Demons also recognise him as their mate. Each Demon has power, and Echo has one of his own. Together they are to defeat the oncoming darkness or the Demons will be pulled back to Tartarus - where they really don't want to go.
A lack of actually just coming out and saying what needs to be said makes this book a bit repetitive and frustrating. And although the Demon's are together sexually they aren't ever all together which is odd to me, add in Echo and you would think at one point you might have eight in a bed but nope. Wouldn't know how that would work but would have liked to 'see' it. This isn't a bad story, bit involved but leading up to a series of ten books in all and then a spin-off series.

4 1/2 STARS....I've got to admit, I'm a fan of Gabrielle's work long before this series. But she has out done herself with this one. If you think it is not possible for 8 men to be committed relationship to each other without jealousy or envy, think again, because Gabrielle makes it happen.

Dark Devotion will introduce you to Echo as he meets his mates. Seven gorgeous Demon Warriors who have been in a polymonogomus relationship for centuries. They would die for one anther. These alpha men work and play hard. And with 8 horny men in one house the sex scenes are hot and steamy!! But what their new mate offers is the one thing that has been missing even without them realizing it was missing. It's LOVE, and the ability to see that they not only love their mate but really have been in love with each other for thousands of years. But what would a demon warrior know of the softer side of life if it wasn't for his/their mate.

This nine book series is on the 5 story as I write this review. And each one is just as good as the last. Looking forward to the next 4, Thanks Gabrielle!!
I will say that even thought it took a min for the real good parts to start showing up i was very thrilled in ordering this book. I enjoyed it so much
I have yet to read a novel written by Gabrielle Evans that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. Paranormal, emotionally charged, super-heroes, and lots of love-making! What is not to love. Gabrielle writes as though she has a real relationship with each of her characters, knows them inside and out, and understands them in a way that they don't even understand themselves. Dark Devotion is fun and intense at once, with characters that I fell in love with. Each of Gabrielle's novels are well worth the purchase price, and more!
